COMMERCIAL CONCRETE LEVELING

Warehouse and Industrial Floor Leveling

Address localized settlement and unsupported slab areas along equipment routes, rack aisles, and material paths.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Signs the slab deserves a closer look.

A small floor displacement can affect forklifts and pallet jacks. It may also affect carts or racking operations. Interior work needs a defined height target and knowledge of utilities and floor systems. The plan must also cover dust and access. Shutdown windows are part of it too.

WHY IT MOVES

Start below the surface.

Concrete usually settles because the support below it changed. North Texas moisture swings and drainage can both play a part. So can disturbed fill.

Fill settlement

Large interior slabs may bridge areas where subgrade or trench backfill has consolidated.

Process water or leaks

Water below a floor can remove fine material and create unsupported zones.

Repeated dynamic loads

Forklift routes and concentrated loads can expose movement at joints and panel edges.

THE REPAIR PLAN

How we approach this surface.

01

Define operational impact

Equipment routes and racks shape the scope. Joints and coatings matter too. So do drains and utilities, plus shutdown limits.

02

Choose lift or stabilization

The target may be to correct height or restore support. Some controlled areas need both.

03

Plan verification and reopening

Final transitions and any required operational checks are agreed before the area returns to service.

IS LIFTING A FIT?

Keep the concrete when the concrete is worth keeping.

An estimate should separate settlement from slab failure and explain the limits before work begins.

LIFTING MAY FIT

Look for sound, movable concrete.

  • Settlement is localized in a serviceable slab
  • Loads can be removed or managed during work
  • Utilities and structural constraints can be identified

CONSIDER ANOTHER REPAIR

Some conditions need replacement or more investigation.

  • The slab is structurally inadequate for its use
  • A broad floor tolerance problem requires reconstruction
  • Active leaks, soil failure, or structural movement require engineering
